Terms & Shipping

Effective September 13, 2026

The crop and the waitlist

Every clove is planted by hand in October and harvested in August, so supply is genuinely limited. Joining the waitlist puts you in line for the 2027 crop; you are not billed for a reservation. When the harvest is in, we contact waitlisted customers in order before opening general sales.

Orders & payment

Orders are confirmed through Stripe checkout when the crop ships. Payment is due at order time. All prices are in US dollars.

Shipping

Garlic ships by USPS Priority Mail in a ventilated box, bulbs cleaned but untrimmed so they store well. Orders ship through September and early October while stock lasts; seed orders ship first. Shipping is free over $40 and otherwise a flat rate shown at checkout.

Refunds & replacements

Garlic is a farm product and arrives the way it left the barn. If your order arrives damaged or rotten in transit, contact us within 14 days at hello@empressfarm.net with a photo, and we’ll replace it or refund you. We can’t take refunds on garlic you’ve already planted or cooked with.

Storage reminder

Garlic keeps best cool (50–60°F), dry, and dark with airflow. A pantry shelf beats the refrigerator.
